What I love about my flexible work schedule is I can always meet up with my colleagues and friends during the weekday. Recently, I have been to different cafes because of a lot of reasons:

(1) I need internet connection, until now our ISP is difficult to reach
(2) The house is too comfortable to do some work
(3) I get to try new drinks and dishes!
(4) I always look forward to conversations with my friends because I learn something new

The nice cafes are about 35-40 minute motorbike ride from my house but on a good day (less traffic) it's less than that. I really like their name Commonly Uncommon . It is situated in a small strip mall in the city which has a lot of good restaurants as well. It is beside this shop called PaperAnd which sells lifestyle packaging materials, wallpaper and beverage supplies.

I've been in this cafe twice, ordered and tried quite a few from their Menu.

This is their Ricotta Toast which costs around 6 USD. My friend ordered and shared it with me. I'd say the toast was pretty hard for me to chew but other than that it still tasted good. I think I want it with vanilla ice cream on top, double the sweetness. 🤣

The first drink is the most basic my friend can order 🤣 a coffee latte while the sparkling drink is called Cascara Fizz (non-coffee drink). I ordered that because I was intrigued and I could describe the taste like Sprite with lemonade, and the only thing that I lack to make it perfect is a shot of vodka 🤣.

Doing some HIVE work while enjoying my drink and company. I always look forward to be productive but it always end up with 30% work related stuff and the rest is chika which means goosip/talking. 🤣 That's what you call work-life balance. Work shouldn't consume your life right? 😆

On my second visit, I ordered Espresso Fizz (yeah something about me and anything fizz) which costs around 3.5 USD. The espresso definitely hyped me up whilst I worked. The other drink is called Keemun Rose Tea. I remember having this tea when I was in Taiwan, my stepmom made me try bring rose petals as well and she said it drinking it has a lot of benefits such as reducing anxiety, source of antioxidants and vitamins, and has anti-inflammatory effects.

Everytime I go to the city, I always try to visit my boyfriend before I go home - back to the island. 🤣 I thought of bringing him their best seller called Summer Aglio Olio. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try and review it. I'll get back to you in the comments if I get his feedback. 😁

The interior is pretty neat, it's like an unfinished building, a combination of steel, wood and concrete. Staff were all accommodating and would greet you with a big smile as you come in and as you leave. I'd like to come back and try some of their main course!
