Just one of the purple gusto plants I grew in the greenhouse this year. The fruits are smaller than cayenne fruits, start of green to purple, them mature into a deep red very similar in shade again to the cayenne. This has been a staple chili in the greenhouse for the last few years and from experience do well in almost any meal as well well as freezing and pickling well. A very good choice for amateur gardeners as it takes very little maintenance and is fairly pest resistant.
