They were absolutely written in 1996 by David Wurmser for the Institute for Advanced Strategic and Political Studies. The study group was lead by Richard Perle before Bibi's first term in office. The dates on the PDFs are from when they were created....
They were both written in 1996.
It's quite amazing that you'd suggest that Likud had no influence when there have been hundreds of books written on the subject, and the documents I noted you are not familiar with. The documents explain the coming year 2000, and reference 1996 in the present tense.
Of the following list:
Douglas Feith went on to head the "Office of Special Plans" within Dick Cheney's office. He was indited for espionage by the FBI for passing US intel to Israel through AIPAC.
I quote a famous investigative report called "The Spies that Pushed for War" that outlines Feith's involvement directly with Israeli intelligence:
"The OSP was an open and largely unfiltered conduit to the White House not only for the Iraqi opposition. It also forged close ties to a parallel, ad hoc intelligence operation inside Ariel Sharon's office in Israel specifically to bypass Mossad and provide the Bush administration with more alarmist reports on Saddam's Iraq than Mossad was prepared to authorise.
"None of the Israelis who came were cleared into the Pentagon through normal channels," said one source familiar with the visits. Instead, they were waved in on Mr Feith's authority without having to fill in the usual forms.
The exchange of information continued a long-standing relationship with Mr Feith and other Washington neo-conservatives had with Israel's Likud party."
I find it confusing how you state that Sharon's comments took place after the war started, and didn't mention Bibi's. Also, ignoring the way wars are fought, that there is planning to goes into the war prior to invasion.
This scandal is well documented and only a biased view of the events or a lack of research would lead you to believe that Likud had no influence within the Bush administration.
