Greetings everybody, it's a new year people and of course this is the first week of the year 馃グ, which makes it a unique one. My expectations for this year is to improve in my music skills, I've learnt allot in the previous year and I haven't practicalize most of them, I feel like there's need to go even further this year both on vocals and on the guitar, I hope and pray it goes well for me.
For my entry I did a medley of two hausa songs, hausa is one of the major languages in Nigeria. This songs were all written by one artist keastrings, of course my favorite artist, his songs are always relatable and inspiring.
The first song is NASSARA which means VICTORY. I believe God gave us victory over the previous year by bringing us into this year, there were so many people that couldn't make it here and it's so sad to hear that but we on our own have no power to sustain ourselves not to talk of sustaining someone else, God's sustainability is enough for us.

The second song is HE'S HERE, it was sang in two languages English and hausa, the chorus is in hausa and in most cases people would often sing the chorus coz it's the sweetest part of the song. This song is all about God's presence as promised in the scriptures. Jesus promised to be in the midst of any two or three persons that gather in his name.

I started the medley with NASSARA coz it's the simplest, then I moved to HE'S HERE. I've heard this same medley some times ago and it was done by the owner of the songs keastrings infact that was what motivated me to do this medley, I initially wanted to cover just the first song but as I remembered this medley, I decided to try it and here we are.
Alright guys, that's my entry for this week, thanks for coming around guys, it's a pleasure to have you around. See you next week.
La segunda canci贸n es HE'S HERE, cantada en dos idiomas: ingl茅s y hausa.
Empec茅 el popurr铆 con NASSARA, porque es la m谩s sencilla, y luego pas茅 a HE'S HERE.
