This bike man thought because of grey hair, he can do anyhow.
That's how I boarded his bike from GTB road to Adebayo street. I asked him to stop at the junction into my street so i can get watermelons and carrots(health nut much) . We were waiting for the Hausa boys to pack my purchases, I gave him his fifty bucks and turned to get my bag.
Fiam! The guy had zoomed off.
I just stared after him. I whistled and whistled but he conveniently didn't hear.
I got my purchases. My house was like three minutes walking distance. The holy ghost was saying ees no big deal. Make I forgive am. Ees not like he drove away with my change.
The devil was saying, show am Pepper.
I decided to listen to the devil. Sometimes na satan talk sweet belle pass.
I flagged down another bike and directed him to take me to GTB street. We got there, I paid and waited by a locked shop besides an agbero who complimented my tattoos and said i should not work out anymore, my build is cool, blah blah. I said thanks then faced front before he goes, Big bros, how far? You get fifty naira? Anything for your boy?
Okada dude drove in. I sharply climbed in and said, Adebayo street. I don't think he saw who was behind him. Maybe he did. Whatever.
Make I see which mouth him go take ask for money when we reach.
We got to my street. I got down and said, Please wait, I want to goan collect something.
Then I went in to eat my watermelons.
Five minutes later, my neighbour came to ask if I know a bike man waiting outside for someone.
I no know anybody o, I said.
