The Disintegrator is a vile creature that lurks in the depths of the Neutral cards where I seldom remember to include it in my team when I should. I therefore go once again to my alt account where I did actually remember to use it!

The Battle

In this battle we were limited to the Death splinter with a decent amount of mana, so Cursed Windeku and Silent Sha'vi were pretty much a given from my opponent, and there was a high likelihood of ranged back line. My choice therefore was to go with Contessa L'ament to counter any ranged, and Disintegrator to counter Windeku and Sha'vi. Death (at least in low Silver) doesn't have high damage magic dps, so Thaddeus Brood seemed less useful. My guessing turned out to be correct, and the starting lineup looked favourable.

The two Windeku fell at the same time in the middle of the second round, but my damage output is now significantly higher. A big factor in how it played out is that his Sha'vi with reduced damage from the Disintegrator's Demoralize is attacking my Bonesmith who heals himself a point each round from Life Leach.

The win is secured.

Conclusion

Don't forget about the Disintegrator!
