Look these are not going to get graded or anything but it was something I thought of and wanted to give it a try. So I am going to walk you through the steps I took to make my own Holozing Trading Card!

I made the artwork so don't go doing this with other people's artwork unless you have their permission.

You are going to need a few things before we get started.

• A blank trading card, preferably with 1 solid color on it (I used a Pokemon Water Energy card)
• Spray adhesive
• Printer
• the actual artwork printed out at the right size. A Pokemon card is 2.5 x 3.5 inches or 63.5mm x88mm. I recommend printing the front and back image slightly bigger by a mm or 2 to ensure the ends are not white.
• (Optional) A clear coat of some type
• (Optional) Gloves to not get your hands sticky

Step 1 - Gather your supplies.

I am using Loctite Spray Adhesive because it is what I have on hand. I highly recommend getting a few (1 or 2) extra sheets of just white paper. Get your gloves ready too!

Step 2 - Start Gluing the Front

Spray the card with the spray adhesive and let is sit for about 30 seconds so it gets a little tacky. Then put on 1 of the clean white pieces of paper. Then do that a second time.

I HIGHLY recommend cutting your actual artwork piece with 2 straight sides at least so it is easy to line up on the card.

Once you do that spray your card again and put on the front artwork piece and hold it down everything for a few seconds to ensure tight glue process.

Step 3 - Clean up the edges

Now you are going to take a razor blade or something VERY sharp and cut around the edge of the physical card.

I did a terrible job in this photo but you get what I am going for.

Step 4 - Glue on the back image

This back image is just something I whipped up quickly because I totally forgot about it until after I finished gluing on the front. Oops

Do the same thing though and cut at least 2 edges of the artwork so it is easier to align, then spray the back of the card and stick your artwork on it.

Step 5 - Clean up all the edges before final touches

No picture for this because well I already explained what to do. You can take a razor blade and run it perpendicular to the card to trim every so gently the edges. Don't forget to round the corners too!

Step 6 - Spray a Clear Coat to protect it

Now I know you are thinking this is overkill or stupid and you are right if we are talking about a normal card. But this is white letter paper with a image printed from a at home Laser printer so the quality is crap and there for I want to protect it as much as possible.

Put the card on something that is smaller then the width of the card. I used a small solo type cup thing.

Spray one side of the card (DO NOT SPRAY HEAVY, go light and do multiple coats). Do this for both sides!

Step 7 - Protect your baby (optional)

Grab a Penny Sleeve and a Card Saver 2 sleeve and sleeve that baby up to protect it!

Step 8 - Show you baby off to the world!

Take pictures and show everyone what you made!
