As interest rates continue to trend lower there is no reason to still hold cash it's only forcing people into things where nominal "number go up" so in Canada's case I'd say that's property, in general, we see stonks and bonds at all-time highs.

I personally am not smart enough to know what is the premium I can get for buying apple and tesla stock now and then getting a gain, converting it into USD and then to ZAR and paying the capital gains on it.
