Honestly, I don't see it, there is a limit on the amount of cobalt one can mine each year, putting a cap on how many batteries you can create, more battery tech will be focused on tech items not cars who have to compete with it, I think the idea of we all are going to drive electric cars is a dream, perhaps for the first world, but I highly doubt the rest of the world is going to be driving around EVs even in 100 years
