The Euro Taking A Tumble

Ah, the Euro, hopefully, it will go down in history as the failed experiment it always has been, and I am so glad that this bullshit wasn't tried in Africa, even though some morons were pushing for it a few decades ago. The Euro was sold to Europeans as a way to easily build trade between countries and improve relationships as Europe looked to rebuild as a superpower.

Having one currency totally has its benefits, I mean look at the US, despite being 1 country, it's made up of many states who are basically like countries, and the states trade with one another and it works.

The East Coast handles the money, the West Coast imports woke culture bullshit media and in between that are states that actually provide the food, labour, energy the US needs to keep going, they get to specialise and contribute.

The Euro-zone with everyone who speaks a different language thinking they should be a country makes it a lot more complex, you don't want to specialise in something as you fall victim to dutch disease.

Which they did eventually by using Russia as their local energy market and building a massive serviced-based economy apart from Germany, Italy, and Holland with an agricultural economy.

The Euros slide to parity

The Eurozone reminds me of one of those kids whose daddy gave them a credit card, they never had to work for their prosperity and could just run up a bigger bill than anyone else, a bill that's now sitting at over 9 trillion Euros.

So how do the Europeans plan to pay it back? With "Due Course" of course, fuck if there's anything that Europeans know better than running up debt is running on smugness lol

Anyhoo if you're following the shit show of an economy where the US is trying to fight inflation after it printed 40% of all dollars in existence, and is raising rates, the Europeans blew out their balance sheet in a similar fashion, but cannot raise rates because different countries in the zone would go tits up the moment they did it causing a cascading effect across the region.

Add to that a proxy war on the continent sucking up resources like an American teen playing Fortnite and sucking up mountain dew, you also have an energy crisis all putting pressure on the Euro and the slide continues.

You'd think Croats would have an appreciation for history and get into bed with Nato, was the fall of Yugoslavia really that long ago? Gosh!

Energy needs eating the Euro

As the Eurozone continues to beat itself over the head with climate change policies, (you can follow the dutch farmers to learn more) and their hesitancy to boot up their nuclear and coal, it's going to see them either submit to the Russians or ration energy.

I don't see them submitting to the Russians for ego and virtue signaling sake, and the moment they push European citizens too far in terms of rationing energy, you'll see mass protest, so they are going to have to boot up those old energy sources.

If they do opt for coal, their only option is Australia and South Africa, which is a far long way away to ship, and given the fact that South Africa has an energy crisis of its own, it only leaves the Ozzies to come bail out the Euro zone should they go for coal.

Economic reality comes for us all

Now Euro bros will blame policy, blame the war, blame covid, blame whatever, but they won't blame the fact that they all lived pretty well and reaped the benefits of a 9 trillion Euro credit card. You could have war, covid and whatever else if you had money in the bank to cover your arses.

But you didn't and now the bill is coming due and since you can't make good on your debts, it's print baby print time.
