I believe that I have given my submission to a post about this topic sometime in the past. And from that rime, even up until this very day, my stance hasn't wavered. There is almost no chance that it will.
I've always been team android. Team Samsung, to be fair and truthful. From a very young age, even before I ever owned a smartphone, I loved the Samsung brand. Back then, it was the best thing out there for the androids while Nokia was the king in the button phone market. My brother owned a Samsung then, and compared to the other androids out there, it was sleek and had amazing performance. There's also the versatility surrounding the phone's ability to connect with other gadgets from other brands, like using a techno charger and oraimo headset kind of thing. Its compatibility isn't limited, I mean.
Too, it was well talked about for how durable the products were, only that the downside for most people was that it came quite expensive.
Even then, I didn't mind. I always looked forward to owning one. Fast-forward to prevent day, and using my current phone(a samsung), there's been no regrets, and the little me from years ago is not disappointed that I held the brand in high esteem. I even wished so much that I could get every single gadget that the brand ever produced.
When I talk about androids, it's usually about Samsung, and maybe if it wasn't categorized under the android canopy, I wouldn't care much for others. But then... here we are. Meanwhile, I cannot overlook that in the past couple years, other android brands like vivo, itel, oppo, techno, Google pixels, etc have been moving almost shoulder to shoulder with whatever high end brands and devices within same year of production as them. There's been massive improvements in battery, storage, performance, display, fluidity, camera, name it. It's particularly difficult now to make a choice since it seems that no one device comes perfect with every spec/feature one might be looking for.
Ios devices are good, but I'm not up for it. Not for the weak batteries, nor from the recurring hotness the phone gets nor from the unnatural and overly colored camera. It's almost becoming boring, especially with fewer and fewer updates for newer production. Here, brand name is what sells, not necessarily the specs. And it's just fine but not for me.
Both androids and iphones have their target market and produce amazing devices, each with its power specifications. The competition might be stiff, but I don't see Samsung losing its grip.
