Music has always been a big part of my life. It has been an ever-present, soothing companion, and as such, it is difficult to imagine; morning walks without the chirping of birds,
Christmas without carols,
TV shows without soundtracks,
Moments of reflection without soft melody,
Parties and occasions without live bands.
What would happen to dancing in the shower?
You couldn't listen to a favorite music while preparing for the day.
There would be no giggling of kids as that in itself is music.
How difficult would it be for kids to fall
asleep without lullabies.
These are just a few things, and the list may go on very long. Without music, life will be dull. It would be like using black and white television after using LCDs and LEDs.

Somehow, I feel like this is an odd question and maybe it should have been asked thus; 'what would happen if music ceased to exist,' or 'if it never existed in the first place?'
You know, because music is such a deeply-engrained part of the human condition, it would be nearly impossible to eliminate it completely. We already have all of our melodies plugged into our collective consciousness, and so it's quite difficult to picture a world where it doesn't exist. There's no way to eliminate it.
However, if you could eliminate it, people would be confused and lost for a while, but they'd bounce back and find some other outlet.

On the other hand, if music never existed in the first place, nothing would happen. We wouldn't know about it, so it wouldn't be part of who we are as a culture and species, so its absence wouldn't be felt. You can't feel the absence of something you never knew existed, so if there
was no music to begin with, thered be no impact on us. But, being human, we'd find other ways to - as I said - meditate, communicate, breathe, work, and connect.

Still, life without music for me can be likened to a day without emotions and moments without
It's only music which holds our hand tight when everything is moving apart. Music makes you feel the presence of emotion in your life; it either lifts you up or pulls you down but, atleast, it tells you and makes you realise that you feel something whether it be bad or good. Music reminds me of people, of places, of events, of moments in my life.
Whenever I feel sad or irritated, and I turn to music, I bask in the emotion in that moment. It can be likened to a catharsis. It's like I get to vent and cry and then feel better afterward.
I can only but imagine how lacking in beauty, thought and self-expression, how bleak and less enjoyable the absence of music would make life be.

Music is a universal language.
Personally, I think music is one of those things beyond our understanding. The manipulation of voices, instruments, and whatever else that can match any vibe you have, and it's honestly just so universal.

However, i guess if I had never experienced music, I wouldn't know what I was missing. But if music were to be taken from me, I may as well not be alive. Every day, i tune in to some song and just vibe to it depending on which appeals to my mood in that moment. Depending on which speaks to me.

Music is everywhere - from chirping of birds to ripple of rivers, from cakling of babies to prayers of olds, from the horns blaring in traffic to the around of rain beating the roof.
Music is an essential part of human life. Be it happy or sad occasion, music plays an important role. For whatever emotion and occasion, there's a song that tells it. Every incident in life becomes precious by a bit of musical touch to it.

I guess today is another day to be grateful for music. Not just because of the melody, but because of the 'unconventional happiness' it provides. The kind that comes from when you're listening to music, and it just feels like this person gets you because of how they artistically express the feelings you couldn't describe with words. The kind that makes you want to listen to a song over and over again so you can soak it in because they're like that friend you don't wish for them to leave just yet

Music is life, my friend!
And that's it for my participation to the NovemberInleo for Day #18.
Do well to check it out and join in.

Thanks for gracing this post.
Greetings!
