The idea of cloning myself and transferring my memories to the clone, then living on without those memories, seems like a good idea, and I would completely adopt it if such a thing were possible. But where I wouldn't accept to concur with it is where the situation demands that all my memories be transferred to the clone and I have to live on without any memories of my life.
I would gladly make a clone of myself and transfer the memories I no longer want in my life to the clone.
I know life is all about ups and downs, and that's what makes life balanced, but it would be interesting if we could practically wipe off the memories we no longer want to remember and keep the ones we want.
As much as I've been trying my possible best to live only on the good memories and never be weighed down whenever a glitch of bad past occurrences walks into my mind, I still feel stopped and touched whenever those memories knock. There are people I have had some embarrassing and awful endings with, and anytime I come across them, the feeling of those days still chips in. Sometimes, I may want to quickly push the memories away, but before then, the deed has already been done by that deep reminder. It's not like I would be hurt or very emotional to the extent of deep regret; the regrets would just be little, but that little drop of regret holds a large weight.
Having a clone where I could dump those awful memories would be so interesting.
One of the beauties of this life is how humans are able to reflect on some happenings in life, whether good or bad, and smile while thinking about them, either by reminiscing about the tough moments of life and comparing how things have become so good and soft, or by reliving those special days in one's life, such as one's wedding day, graduation day, and many others.
Life would be meaningless if I cloned myself, transferred all my memories to the clone, and continued my life without a single memory. I wouldn't accept the offer even if it existed.
The idea of cloning oneself really sounds nice.
I've seen it in movies where people use it to do great things. What if I could clone myself and transfer all my weaknesses to the clone's body whenever I wanted? Such as transferring all the bad memories that I don't want to think about anymore in my life to the clone, or transferring any sickness to the clone whenever I fall sick. It would be nice.
