Spent a few days after Christmas in Spreewald - in the city of "Burg" . I took this ...

... picture in the courtyard of "Kolonieschänke" 200 years old countryside hotel. It offers quality, regional & organic meals and healthy sleeps🌟. We also had a little sauna in our bedroom, which was great too.
Spreewald belongs to the state of Brandenburg in 🇩🇪 . It was designated a biosphere reserve in 1991.
The river "Spree" gets lost in hundreds of little streams in this area, which creates an unbelievable & unique fairy 🧚‍♂️ atmosphere. Do not miss one of the traditional boats trips if you are staying there.

You should also try one of the thermal bathing complexes which the region is well-known for. Burg's Spreewald Thermal Baths is one of them ☺️🙏🌟
