¿Puede un perro tener picardía?
Possibly yes, when we already know him and he knows us and suspects that our intention is to take away the bone he is playing with.
Hachi is our pet, he is almost five months old, I have taken him to the Hive Pets community on two occasions. He has grown, he bites us often, they say it is because he is a puppy and his gums itch because of his teething process, that this will pass, in the meantime we have gotten him bones to exercise his teeth, so that they are less sharp and he does not hurt me when in the middle of the game he wants to bite me again.
I wanted a small dog, because we have almost no space, and we were told that this one would be, but he is growing and although I don't think he will be very big, he is not as small as I wanted him to be. However, he is already part of the family. We repeat his name at least a hundred times during the day. Hachi doesn't sit still for a moment.
Having a puppy is like having a small child at home, he runs around and messes everything up, but in the midst of that, he gives us a good laugh, he is a joyful companion. He doesn't leave the cats alone; he teases them, he bites their ears, until they have to climb up where he can't reach.
If there was a competition for the dog that eats the fastest I'm sure Hachi would win, he goes crazy when it's time to eat. I tell him "sit!" and he does it for a few seconds and as soon as I put the dish in his bowl he devours it all in less than four seconds. He doesn't get enough, he keeps looking to the sides and when I serve him enough, then he goes to where the cats eat and jumps trying to get to where they, parsimoniously, eat. I put them in a high place where Hachi can't reach.
He was three days old, almost two months old when he started barking at everything he heard. If someone comes to the door he starts doing it until we go out to see what's going on. He is a good watchdog. When I go out nearby, to do the shopping, when I come back I feel him whining pitifully, he recognizes me and does not bark at me, when I open the door, he sees me and jumps with joy.
If I sit down to type on Hive with the phone, or watch TV, he stands next to me, brings a rock, bone or toy and sits nibbling on it on top of my feet and every now and then he gently bites one of my fingers, I have to push him away again and again. I like to pet him but he starts growling and biting my arms and hands. I have read on the internet not to hit him or yell, when he does that, but to make a pain sound, and yes, I have found that it works, but it doesn't eliminate the behavior, he comes back with another lunge.
He became my alarm clock, when the sun rises and the rooster next door crows, he barks at him and that's the moment I decide to get up, sometimes in the afternoon while I'm napping he barks at any noise and I get up to see what's happening to him. Hachi is already part of our daily life, we are getting used to each other and sharing life, moments and laughter. When this time of teething passes, everything will be easier and I think he won't bite me so much.
