Suggestion: adding a form of notification to the Steemit platform.

Components

Steemit is a very beautiful platform that allows for networking and social interactions but it can be improved upon.

Proposal

As a User of the steemit.com platform, I discovered that there is no way of getting to know all that happened with or around a user's account when he/she is away or offline without opening all the user's menus. For instance, a user would not know if someone commented on his/her post except he/she clicks on the comment menu.

I would want to propose that a form of notification be added to the platform where a user get notified when anything happens in and with his/her account. For instance, that form of notification can let the user know his new follwers with ease.

Mockups / Examples

Some platform already have this form of notification that tells a user directly what has been happening with his or her account. The image below is an example and such can be added to steemit platform.

Benefits

This is so beneficial as:

a. It would save users a lot of time and data.

b. Some users that I introduced to the platform also talked about it so adding that form of notification would satisfy a real need in the hearts of users.

c. This would also improve on the credibility of the Steemit platform.
