Well, it looks like Bitcoin is having a heart attack at the 9,000 level. Dropping to 8,000 in just a few short hours. My conspiratorial mind has this whole rise of Bitcoin down to EOS and that Voice announcement. Hear me out - Peter Thiel's a major investor in EOS. He needed to exit his stake, so what does he do? Buy Bitcoin.
Buying Bitcoin also has the effect of raising the other coins as investors FOMO. So it's a win-win for him to buy Bitcoin and we know he has the money.
As he exits, there's less buying of bitcoin and we see a temporary drop. Anyway, that's how i see things. Overall, i think this is good for Bitcoin as we've managed to get a few more people onto the train at lower prices than the ATHs of 20,000 and slowly but surely, we start to see more adoption.
There's also the halvening to look forward to but i really don't think that explains this sudden run up although you never know.
