A few more unpublished photos from the sights of the Chelyabinsk region - the Porozhskaya hydroelectric station. A little history - launched in 1909, it supplied energy to a metal smelting plant (not preserved) and nearby villages. The hydroelectric power station operated for more than a century; it was stopped only in 2017. All components and assemblies required serious repairs. But in the regional budget money was found only for conservation. By the way, they even wanted to recognize the hydroelectric power station as a UNESCO cultural heritage site, but something didn’t work out...
