The pictures were taken last year, on the banks of the Volga, near the village of Slantsevy Rudnik, Ulyanovsk Region. There is a geopark here, right on the river bank lie ancient fossils, over 130 million years old. Ancient mollusks, shells, "devil's fingers" - and many more complex names that I did not remember. Every year, after the spring flood, the collection of fossils is updated. Collecting them is prohibited, but it is very difficult to resist.
