Some of the major cryptocurrency and blockchain associations in Switzerland, Kazakhstan and Armenia have recently been involved in a jointly planned joint law of Russia, China and South Korea. The lawsuit had to be filed against Internet companies to ban all forms of advertising related to crypto, Russian local news outlet RNS reported last Friday, April 6.
"The association that brings together the crypto-investors and blockbuster industries in Switzerland, Kazakhstan and Armenia joins the lawsuit against a currency-crypto advertising ban, which somehow gets into Google, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn," said Yuri Pripachkin, president of the Crypto Association -Currency and Blockbrokers Russia.
Plans to file a joint lawsuit against the technology giant were first revealed on March 27 this year. Organizations that initially filed complaints included the Russian Cryptocurrency Association and Blockchain (RACIB), the Korea Venture Business Association, and LCBT, an association of Chinese crypto investors.
According to Pripachkin, new members of the joint lawsuit include associations such as the Swiss fintech firm InnMind, the Armenian Blockchain Association, and Kazakhstan Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Association.
The joint claim will be filed in May 2018 in New York. Funds for lawyers should be collected on digital purses registered in Estonia, Pripachkin notes.
