With the coffee grounds from the previous day at home, a fine brush and water, I traced the silhouette of my doll. A character with coffee, I promised her a few days ago and I'm a girl of my word 🤭.

Then I did my favorite part which was splashing coffee all over the leaf. I wiped the surface and let it dry overnight.

The next day I went to my favorite coffee shop to finish drawing the doll.

I arrived at El Huerto a coffee shop in my city that has been founded for years.

With a black pen, I began to make strokes for the doll to take shape while I waited for my coffee.

This place is a meeting point for friends, a family reunion and a place where you can enjoy the best coffee with milk in the region with delicious traditional Venezuelan Andean pastries.

As soon as you enter the place you can feel the family atmosphere. There was a family with a German shepherd dog at a table and they were enjoying their meat pie. I love this place and spending time here reminds me of my childhood, my sisters ordering pies with strange fillings like pizza pie and my mother drinking coffee with milk.

This time I came with my husband. It had been days since we had taken some time alone and I wanted to invite him.

I had fun drawing my character's hair. I loved the coffee curls. Then her costume and earrings. The coffee cup and some details next to the name cinnamon cup Coffee.

Talking with my husband about our things, the morning went by between drawing, coffee, cakes and laughter.

The owner of this place is a friend of my mother's so he arrived and greeted us warmly.

At the entrance of the place there is a blackboard that they decorate with a motivational message every week, as today is Monday we have a new message:
Every family has a story, welcome to ours.

That kind of details make this place my favorite.

We ate 5 cakes: 2 I ate and 3 my husband ate. As so much time passed, I think it was 2 hours, we had 2 coffees each, one espresso and one with milk, obviously without sugar. All this cost 5$. I think that's a pretty reasonable price for 2 hours of stay, good food and the best coffee.

Some curiosities of the place:
They have a corner of fame, where they expose photographs of the owner, Mr. Luis along with recognized personalities of the artistic world. This gentleman is a fan of bullfighting so most of those pictures are in bullrings with famous bullfighters.

Personally I am against this bullfighting tradition and every time I can I sign proposals against it and make a manifesto so that it does not take place in the city.

They have a kitten they call Tiger. He is adorable and stopped by to play with me for a little while while I painted the doll's eyes.

In one of the walls of the place, they have a figure that represents the Virgin of the Consolecion de Tariba, the people of my city are very devoted to the religion and proof of this is that in the traditional stores you can find this image.
