Greetings friends! Today I would like to share a drawing I made this afternoon using coffee, markers, white opaline cardboard, black ballpoint pen and pencil.

Saludos amigos! Hoy me gustaría compartir un dibujo que he realizado en laa tarde de hoy utilizando café, marcadores, cartulina blanca opalina, bolígrafo de color negro y lápiz.

The first thing I did was to take the coffee grounds, i.e. the residue left in the filter after a delicious cup of coffee.

Lo primero que hice fue tomar la borra del café, es decir los residuos que quedan en el filtro después de una deliciosa taza de café.

I placed it on a tray and with the help of a paintbrush I made some strokes and circles on the cardboard.

Lo coloqué en una bandeja y con ayuda de un pincel hice algunos trazos y círculos en la cartulina.

I let it dry and then wiped it with a dry towel to remove the excess coffee.

Lo dejé secar y luego lo limpié con una toalla seca para retirar el exceso de café.

I made strokes with the markers and then with the pencil I drew the flower and some branches that I then filled in with the pen.

Hice trazos con los marcadores y luego con el lápiz dibujé la flor y unas ramas que después rellené con el bolígrafo.

I tried to make the lines of the pen make the effect of the petals look wavy.

Traté de que la las líneas del bolígrafo hicieran el efecto de los pétalos para que se vieran ondulados.

And so I finished my drawing. I am not an expert in this technique, but whenever I have some time available I try to invest it in practicing and I love this technique of pen strokes. I titled my drawing the flower that emerges from the coffee, since the base of the drawing was coffee.

Y así terminé mi dibujo. No soy una experta en esta técnica, pero siempre que estoy con un tiempo disponible trato de invertirlo en prácticar y esta técnica de trazos en bolígrafo me encanta. Titulé mi dibujo la flor que emerge del café, ya que la base del dibujo fue el café.
