Hello everyone!! Today I thought I would try my hand in the steem pool. It has been a while for me, but I used to love this place, and I know there are many quality users here not receiving the attention they deserve.

Do you have any programming skills?

If so, I'd to talk to you guys about a sibling platform to steem, known as whaleshares. This is an excellent place for all people to come and socialize, however, whaleshares currently has a particular need for 3rd party developers. Whaleshares is also an early steem fork, so most of you should have some experience coding with the software already.

What kind of opportunities are on whaleshares?

Well, as mentioned before, whaleshares is a full featured platform, however there are two opportunities in particular that I would like to discuss.

ETERNALBLUE
Eternal blue is a technology related curation group, managed by myself and some other very neat members on whaleshares, and we spend a good deal of time trolling the boards for posts supporting whaleshares or technology in general. Unfortunately, with the user base not yet at steems level, there are not many users submitting works for us to curate. This is where you come in. If you create technology based content: you will find a good home in the #coding #programming or #eternalblue tags of whaleshares.

bHIVE
bHIVE is a team put together by one of the founding members of whaleshares, and I am proud to say that I am a part of that team. We are a new team, and a little out of our comfort zone for certain elements of this, however that usually leads to great things like bhive.live, or many of the other services that we have put together.

As mentioned that bHIVE is a relatively new team, there is currently a need to grow in terms of team members. This is another reason why I am here to talk to you all today. team bHIVE currently consists of about 4 members, and we are looking to add several more programmers into the mix, as currently it is largely myself putting out content, and we would really benefit with some extra hands.

The only skills needed to join this team, are the willingness to learn, and a mild knowledge of some form of programming. A large amount of our work so far has been done in JavaScript, but every language has its use, and if you are willing to learn, that's even better.

I hope this article has been informative to some of you, I know there are many still looking to find a place where they belong, and whaleshares has been that place for me, so I can only hope it will be so for you all as well.
