Sup Steemit family - I'M BACK!
After an insanely long hiatus (I haven't written in 13 days!), I'm finally back on Steemit and ready to continue blogging again!
I was pleased to read so many cheerful and encouraging comments upon returning. I was even more overjoyed when I saw that I had actually gained more followers while I was away. I'm already over 900 followers so thanks a ton to everyone following my journey on Steemit. Your support is always very appreciated and will encourage me to continue writing and producing awesome content on Steemit!
Where have I been for so long?
Well, I finally decided to take that all-elusive vacation (not the staycations that I'm usually accustomed to) and went on an adventure overseas with my wife to the Caribbean and to Cartagena, Colombia. The trip was so amazing and memorable that I will be breaking it down for you soon. Plenty of digital memories on the way so get excited and ready to live vicariously!
How's MedBlock going?
Simply fantastic! While we continue to wait on the results of the Stellabelle SteemFest2 contest (2 winners will each receive an all-expenses paid trip to SteemFest2), it has been full STEEM ahead on the prototype and whitepaper.
Ideally, we would absolutely love to present at SteemFest2 in November. If this dream comes true, we will not only present at the conference but also aim to launch our MedBlock ICO that very same month! However if other deserving winners are selected to go to SteemFest2, then we will continue to work on MedBlock and most likely launch our ICO at the end of this year.
At any rate, we are planning to launch a token pre-sale before our ICO in order to raise more funding for developers and a web designer.
As soon as the website rounds into shape and a lawyer is secured, we will allow everyone to start signing up for the token pre-sale. We'll definitely keep you posted!
What's coming up?
There are plenty of exciting events on the horizon. Depending on the results of the SteemFest2 contest, I may be flying to Lisbon this November. Regardless, the MedBlock team will be launching a pre-sale before November. And on the travel front, I am planning to take another overseas trip to Europe at the end of December. I'm thinking about a cross-country voyage across Europe, spanning at least 2 weeks, and culminating in a New Year's Celebration with the wifey in a Venetian gondola! And of course this time, I will be taking all of my Steemit friends along for the ride!
