Creative industries can boast of numerous talented people, whose work not only serves purpose, but is also a starting point for inspiration and example.

The hero of the day is the Catalan Sergio Mora. An unscrupulous illustrator in the best meaning of the word. It creates fantastic images, emerging as if from restless sleep.

Something surreal, dark, grotesque, diabolical, exaggerated. His compositions are complex work - a multipurpose storyline, active symbolism, a specific color gamut, fabulous, melancholy. Simultaneous illustration, but also fine art.

Speaking of Sergio Mora, the word "magic" should be used quite often: his works resemble scenes from a vaudeville spectacle, an animated trash film, and the participants are different - Mona Lisa, Hitchcock, Frida Kalo and a number of new faces. Sergio Mora is obviously influenced by Kalo's canvases, with astounding similarities.

His drawing is very simple, without decorations, with smooth, clear lines. On the semantic level, however, a whole symbolic and associative universe is triggered, allowing the reading of its work.

His illustrations are included in children's books, posters, tattoos, comics, stage sets. Magic game with senses, meanings, themes.
