Greetings Foodies
While at the supermarket yesterday I spotted something rather interesting in the frozen pizza aisle. It seems the musician Lewis Capaldi has his own brand of pizza.
There are 2 flavors available priced at £4 each or 2 for £5 in our local Food-warehouse and Iceland stores. The first is this 4 cheese pizza consisting of mozzarella, monetary jack , provolone and a cheese I had previously never heard of called Irish Ballycashel.
This is probably the tastiest cheese pizza I have ever tried. The sauce is sweeter than most pizza sauces, so I would guess there is some sugar added to it. The blend of 4 kinds of cheese is wonderfully creamy.
Ireland's dairy products are second to none due to the volume of rain the country gets. Their dairy cows are well-fed on plenty of good grass which leads to fantastic dairy products. I think it's the Irish Ballycashel cheese that is adding the extra creaminess to the flavor palette here. Overall a very tasty slice, I will give it a solid 8.5/10
When it comes to pizza I need some meat on it to really enjoy it .In my opinion, if there's no pepperoni its not really a pizza! So lets check out the meaty pizza next.
Now that's more like it! Pepperoni , pork chunks,bacon ,spicy Nduja sausage and a generous amount of mozzarella, oh yeah!
This one is delicious, just looking at this slice makes me want another one.A perfect blend of meaty goodness, I will give this one a solid 9/10.
Overall I am very impressed with these pizzas and at the unbeatable price of 2 for £5 its kinda hard to go wrong.
It seems as if the ingredients selected are of a higher quality than you would normally find on frozen pizza which results in a much tastier slice.
These are well worth checking out if you find them in your local supermarket.
