Good day Tasteem friends. On todays' Beverages with friends edition, I would like to take you to a place where I and my parents had a nice meal and drinks. I'm going to focus more on Beverages in-line with the weekly theme "Beverages with Friends". Well, I considered my parents as my parents, mentor, my world and my friends.
Few months ago, while I and my parent on our way to visit my grandma, we went for a quick meal and drinks at a restaurant in Putatan called Sri Massenang. It's a Halal eatery place that offers delicious food and refreshing drinks. This place used to be owned by a Chinese restaurant that offered varieties of beverages and desserts. I guess they sold the place to Sri Massenang as their business didn't really attracted customers. This is the first time we went to this place after it changed its owner.
Since it was a hot day, I ordered this Ice Blended Cendol which is a mixture of blended ice with Greenish noodles in flavour of Pandan leaf. On top of it, is the creamy coconut milk. This drink is sweeten with a special brown sugar or Gula Melaka. You need to stir the Gula Melaka on the bottom part of the cup to mix it with that blended ice so that it will be mixed-well and not too sweet.
My dad ordered this Teh Tarik Ping or Ice Cool Bubble Tea. It's one of his favorite drinks. It's mixed-well to perfection to create that bubbles, making it look so delicious to drink.
Overall, the beverages here are nice, clean and refreshing. The service is good and informative. I recommended this restaurant to my friends out there.
