My Teenage World

Life as a teenage girl is not easy. Now I'm in my teenage year, in high school, making new friends and even considering having a boyfriend. I know that this is the time my hormones are racing like a roller coaster ride. As a girl, sometime I hate what I see in the mirror and wish I looked like the girls in glossy magazines. I even think I'm fat even though my mom said I don't eat enough.

I read lots of books and listened and share experiences with my aunties, and my so call sister, single and available @kilathecla from time to time. They made me realise that many teens have trouble understanding that one does not have to have a boyfriend or girlfriend to have a good teen life. Singles are having fun the most. Being single will give me more time for my friends, my parents, my education, my activities and my hobbies.

So, what's happening around my world. Today I and my cousin went to our weekend Sunday school at St Michael Parish hall, Penampang.

We arrived early and greeted by our Sunday school teacher Mr Salestine. This gave us the opportunity to ask questions on things that we don't understand during last week class.

After the Sunday school session, I and Ciarra proceed to St Michael Church to join the Holy Mass. I kind of 😔 my mom and dad not with me. My mom couldn't make it because she had an office meeting this evening and my dad had to look after the restaurant. I hope they can make it next week 😇

During the Mass, the priest said that swearing does not make you cool. It just makes you sound stupid, immature, and unapproachable. Hmm... I remember my mom used to scold me whenever I said something rude. She will said "Sia kasi makan kau sabun supaya bersih tu mulut kau!" (means I let you eat the soap so that you mouth is clean!") and sometime she will said "Sia kasi makan kau lada" (means I'll feed you chilie"!).. LOL.

After the Mass, Ciarra's mom come to fetch us. By then we're hungry so we went to my dad's restaurant for dinner. Then I saw my mom waiting for me and my dad smile at me... then well I know they love me like I love them!
