Last year in September, 2018, my school had this programme for selected student to learn Arduino programing project. Before student were selected, there was a briefing on the introduction of the programme by an invited programmer from a private institution.
Student who attended the introduction briefing was then selected to join the project. Fifteen student were selected and most of them from my class. I was interested to join the programme. Unfortunately, there were only two more spots left allocated for my class. My teacher prefered male student as most of the participants are girls. End up I was not included in the programe. I was so disappointed but I tell myself maybe it's not meant for me. I told my mom that I was not selected to join the program. My mom said its okay and add on that learning programming language is not easy. Emmmh...okay... I guess I trust her because she and my dad did learned few programing in their Bachelor in IT.
Few weeks later, one of my friend who joined the programme complaint that the subject was too hard for him. I just smiled and said I was lucky not to be included in the programme. So lucky that I can concentrate on my core subjects and have time to play my Minecraft.
