Finnish government are trying to calm the younger generations saying "you will get a pension - it is safe"

Yeah not counting on it. Finnish pension system works so that today's generation's pension payments feed the old generations' pension. Finland's population will start to decrease soon so there's going to be less and less people in future generations. That means either they have to pay more, or we get less, or the pension system will have to be reformed.
