So I made the decision and decided to shift from a do-it-all-yourself entrepreneur to a subcontractor for my massage work. June will be the last month in my old place before shifting fully to work under the company.

What sealed the deal was that the full responsibility of getting the clients was just simply too stressful, to the point where it started to affect the wellbeing of myself and those around me.

They obviously take a cut for the work, but I will have no running costs (except for patient and pension insurance) which takes a lot of the performance pressure away. It also has added flexibility in that I won't be so tied to a single work place.

The work I've done at my own place wasn't a waste of time though, because I can direct my existing clients to the new place since it's not too far away.

This is the new workplace. It has the added benefit of much pleasant setting: no gym next to and I have a speaker that I can now decide what comes out of it, unlike in the gym. I don't mind rock music during a massage, but it not might be everyone's choice for relaxation, lol.

Feels like a massive weight has been taken away from my shoulders and stress is considerably smaller. I have had some concerns still, because there's a lot of competition in Helsinki, but thus far using an initial offer I have gotten a decent amount of clients with a decent retention rate, too.

I realized that I had a lot of stress, but now the relief of it made me realized that it was way more than I even realized. Luckily I managed to make this shift before summer, because now I will be able to enjoy summer and a bit of holiday in July with peace of mind.
