Microsoft officially introduced the Surface Book 2, a next-generation quad-core Intel processor.
Software giant Microsoft, Intel's 8th generation quad-core i5 processor powered by the next generation 13-inch Surface Book 2 introduced the basic model. With the new Surface Book 2, the i5-8350U will offer a maximum frequency of 3.6Ghz. The price tag of the Surface Book 2 model will be $ 1499 (£ 8,391 + taxes).

Featuring 8GB of RAM, the Surface Book 2 has 256GB of internal storage. Clearly, the processor is the only significant difference that distinguishes the next generation Surface Book from the previous generation Surface Book. However, Intel's next-generation quad-core processor will make a significant difference in performance.
