I need a steemit Sherlock Holmes. The other day I found the above bag of bones in my mailbox. No note, no card, no nothing.
Now it’s no secret that I have a 150 pound mastiff (not a Baskerville hound ;)) patrolling my yard & sleeping on my couches 👇
But the lack of note is unsettling to me. Is it a neighbor just trying to be nice? A gift from someone & the card was lost? Was it sent to the wrong address? Perhaps it was someone who loves my dog & wants to avoid me?
Or was it something more sinister...........
I have no idea, but I’m obviously too paranoid to give these bones to my dog 😂
So if you leave random gifts for pets, please include a little note so the pet can & enjoy your treats & thank you properly!
Otherwise the pet owner may suspect the gift was from the infamous .........
