Got some interesting pictures of the big full moon last night. This is lake Washington, on the Seattle side looking to the east

The beautiful full moon amongst the clouds. All night I was watching the moon seemingly dance in between clouds. Do you see how the light from the moon lights up the clouds? The clouds in front of the moon are dark, yet we can see clouds behind the moon lit up. So are these clouds 238,900 miles away like we are told the moon is?
Or perhaps the moon is much closer. The geometry of these shadows makes me think it’s the latter.
A beautiful sight to behold regardless & was happy to see people looking up at the sky instead of down at phones. You can see mars below & to the right of the moon.
There is still a lot of mystery in the sky. The things we have been taught contradict much of what we can see & feel. An open mind an attention to the sky above will teach you more than “scientists” collecting your tax dollars ever could.
