Art Journal: "Turn Photo Into Painting" | Acrylic Painting🎨🖌️
Greetings Hiver friends, How are you there? Yesterday we were at the park with my family, When we were on our way home, this tree captured my attention, So I take a picture thinking that this is good for my reference photo for my painting today. Though there are many details for this subject I just painted some of them. If I will paint a realistic painting with this setting, it will take me six to eight hours.
In this post, I just want to show you the simple steps of how to paint trees in a landscape.
I used eighth colors of watercolor and four types of painting brushes. It took me one hour and twenty-minutes to finish this craft.
Materials Needed:
👉 Acrylic paper pad
👉 Pencil and eraser
👉 Ruler
👉 Clean Water
👉 Rag
👉 Paper napkin
Brushes:
👉 Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
👉 Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
👉 Filbert brush
👉 Round brush
Watercolor
👉 White
👉 Blue
👉 Orange
👉 Green mid
👉 Grass green
👉 Black
👉 Yellow
👉 Burnt sienna
Basic method:
Background:
Sky: Ultramarine blue, titanium white, and a small amount of orange.
I used a flat brush for the sky and create a smooth color.
Trees:
I used burnt sienna, black and white trunks, and the brush that I usually used was a round brush.
Leaves: Grass green, Green mid, and black. The highlights colors are white, yellow, and yellow ochre. The brush that I used is a Filbert brush.
For other details like tree limbs, grass liner Brush is fit on it.
Lights and shadows are very important in any painting because it will create dimension. Your painting will not look flat.
