Google does not produce its own information. What ever you see on google is what other people posted to the internet. Google uses your keywords to search the entire World Wide Web and gives back suggested/suspected results from all websites or webpages that contains contents related to your typed keywords.

Googlebot is the secret program of google. It is the program that discovers new websites and keep tracks of how often the pages of a site opens and also tells if it has something that has not been seen before.

Google PageRank:

This was invented by Larry Page(Co-founder of Google). It tells which of the documents you search are important. When you search on google, so many results are displayed, but some are more important. It is the rank program that does the sorting according to the level of importance.

Page rank is a top secret algorithm invented by Larry Page.

Page rank uses the links of websites to generate its algorithm. That is important websites have a lot of links pointing to them and this is google's measure of importance.

Links are like voting for a website. When someone is linked to a website, it means that website is important to him, therefore a website with 20,000 links is more important than a website with 6 or no links.

This is called Adwords. In Ads, the higher you bid, the higher your Ads in terms of order.
