Hello Splinterlands Fam,
Today I gathered all my GF cards, not that much; worth $100. Then I sold them , all of them except one!
It's not what you think 😉. Here's why I did that:
I can't really liquidate anything nowadays, everything is undervalued, so it's not wise to liquidate. That's also a fact for card prices but my intention for liquidating is because I want to buy cards again so It's just exchanging cards and you don't loose anything!
Whether you have a GF or a Regular card, the only thing matters are the level. There are other advantages of GFs like: you gain extra DEC for having a GF but that's so small for me in the lower Gold League. There will be a time when CL sales nearly finish and I'll collect GFs again!
I wanted to upgrade my CL commons to Level 3 because Level 2 Summoners can use Level 3 Commons. So I sold those GFs and replace them with regulars, and upgraded the rest with the spare money. Also, I bought this for $45:
Why Lianna? Because she's the cheapest beta summoner, I found myself using her too much and if I get a Flesh Golem: Oh boy ;) That's also a good thing to have high level beta cards for Brawls.
I'm also bullish on @pkm-token so I want to maximize my airdrops. Right now I'm at Level 3 Happy Shaman Level and I'm buying from
@peakmonsters to gain that next level.
So: I sold my GF cards in order to strengthen my gameplay; not because I'm exiting the game. Now I have more solid decks. I also gathered some smaller cards like:
As you can see, most of these cards are bought in order to fortify my water deck. Especially my Alric game! In a magic water deck, it's so important to keep the focus on a taunt like Wave Brood, and Captain's Ghost is a 2 attack+7 life rare magic attacker; good to have! Frost Lion is a cheap and strong frontline/sneak protection. Why Harklaw? I love how cheap it is now and I combined it with my existing 2 Harklaws to upgrade it.
So, the big question is which GF I spared?
Why, because it's so much undervalued right now: $71 The real price is more than $100 and there are only handful of cards being sold on the market. So I didn't want to trash $30 or more for no reason. I'm holding on to that!
Thanks for reading. Hope you enjoyed what you see. Take care!
