About a month ago I took my family to Yellowstone National Park for a quick weekend getaway. Spring time is the best time to visit the park because the animals are out and pretty active after a long winter.

We got up early (5:30 AM) each day and stayed up late swimming at the pool in the hotel. We saw 21 bears, 4 million bison (give or take a few), lots of elk, a moose, a coyote, some marmots, and a golden eagle. Sadly no wolves on this trip.
