Normally in China when there is “3D printing” anything it means there’s a dusty unused Makerbot that no one knows how to use sitting unplugged in the corner. So I came in a bit skeptical and without much hope for this café or any plans to shoot a video. I was pleasantly surprised that they had both a lot of modern equipment and staff actually trained to use it. So I shot this and I hope you enjoy it. I was not in any way compensated I just thought it was an interesting unique Shenzhen thing.
There are subtitles you can turn on and off. I’m not used to speaking English on video (knowing that thousands of native speakers will be listening) and pretty nervous so sorry for the squeaks and ocasional awkward phrasing. I was more than a little self conscious. Like most Chinese ESL speakers my oral English is no where near as good as my written English so transcribing my words for the subtitles was quite embarrassing. Please be kind about it, I will try to relax next time and make my future videos a bit more professional.
Those are my normal clothes. Yes I know, no I don't care. I'll wear what I want.
