First constructed in the time of the 2nd Shogun in 1607. completed under the 3nd shogun in 1638. It was the highest Donjon ever built in japan. Burnt down in the in 1657 only 19 years after it was finish. Has never been recontructed. Some of the stonework looks amazing.
