Thurstaston is a popular destination in Wirral, and is very much part of the ‘coast and countryside’ theme that our peninsula has running through it.
From the coastal aspect, Thurstaston beach is incredibly popular with locals during the warmer months, and all year-round with dog walkers. For visitors to the area, it’s well worth spending a few hours there.
The beach is overlooked by one of the most beautiful parks you will come across, Wirral Country Park. The park has large, lush green areas and is home to a vast array of wildlife. It also has spectacular views over the Dee Estuary toward the Welsh Hills.
