I am new to the lets make a collage community This will be my second participation. The first one was not valid but it was fun to do. Overall making collages are a good way to live in a fantasy. Not all fantasies are perfect.
My fantasy:
I have been invited to a friend's family mansion abroad for Christmas. It was exciting to imagine a lovely holiday in an old enchanting home. I soon realized the hosts were wealthy judgemental snobs that were clearly not thrilled that a person of my class was staying there. I could tell by the questions they asked and the way they smiled with their mouths and not with their eyes. They also spoke mostly in their language which was foreign to me, although they were fluent in English. My dear friend told me not to worry but it was too obvious. I told my friend that I was going to leave to stay in town by myself. It was out of the question so I opted for a long walk alone before the festivities began. That was where the real party was. I realized it didn't matter anymore.
Although it was just a fantasy it was a collage of feelings I have experienced throughout my life. I've gotten over it.
Aside from the image given, I have used images from my own photo collection from over the years.
