I quit the ghost writing gig. One deal breaker: I don't get to see the title, cover art, author name, or the book itself, in published form (paper or electronic). I don't need my name on it. I just need to SEE my baby after gestating and laboring to deliver it.

Should I finish it and self pub? Old man Zubrod is in the nursing home, and his wife should be feeling FREE AT LAST, but no, she might take up trafficking drugs with those baked goods she brings in... except, what do I know about how to do that. I KNOW NOTHING. So I always quit writing.

Short stuff - ok, that I can do. A whole book - eh. Rarely do I ever see a book or movie that was well written, start to finish. "Amadeus" is a masterpiece of a movie in every respect, even if many liberties with the truth were taken. In real life, did Salieri plot the death of Mozart? Not likely. But what a great story! I love movies with unknown (at the time) actors. I'm weary of the over-casted Nicholas Cage, Leonardo, Pitt, Cruise, Tom Hanks. Bring in NEW talent. Give young actors a chance. Stop it with the same old same old actors.
I digress.
