A man and his toys! Er, equipment! #LOVE this. Your joy is palpable and as one who shovels by hand (who does all gardening by hand, inefficiently, often miserably), I rejoice with you:
Within a few minutes, I was back with a load of stone and spread it on the driveway. I had to be carrying at least 8 wagons of stone in one scoop. In minutes I had loaded and spread what would have taken hours to do before. You talk about being ALL PUMPED UP, I was floating on CLOUD 9.
Having dug out a 10x12 ft pond, one shovel full at a time, I can feel your glee at moving those mounds of dirt and rock so quickly and easily.
Men with machines: I could watch them at work for hours. On family vacations, my #1 stop is a factory tour, any factory (the Coors brewery in Golden, CO) - the noise, the power, the vast scale, the productivity.
I love your enthusiasm and glee on finding equipment that makes life easier.
(I'm still thrilled by the power of a lowly vacuum cleaner to tackle the dirt and debris in our house.)
