The truth is "too good" for fiction, our writing workshop teacher told us in 1985 (Nancy Price, author of Sleeping with the Enemy, the novel that became a Julia Roberts movie).
This is a case in point. :)
And I fret over the dumb stuff I do... millions are doing infinitely DUMBER things every day!
