How do you keep the memories out....?
As I peel and cut apples, I keep thinking of my 3 departed sisters.
How they loved autumn, and apple crisp, and all things pumpkin.
How they should he HERE now, here and NOW, not in some heaven lightyears away,
A heaven that our mom so firmly believes will exist for all good people...
Writing, painting, walking in the woods, romping with the dog,
"Carry me in your heart" - I cannot hear another Hallmark sentiment and will not offer one.
