One must adapt - but every single first snowfall of the season, cars crash or skid into ditches. Because we are never "ready" for winter, never ready for any normal and predictable changes in season or situation may arise. The New Testament is hard on the women whose lamps burned dry, and the guy who was not allowed at the wedding because he wasn't properly attired. The message to prepare for the future seems contrary to "Consider the sparrow," and worry not. I'll go with PREPARE, not trust on the goodness of others to put a roof over my head, feed me, clothe me... eh. I need more coffee.
