Oh, ouch, ouch, I may be the only person on earth who couldn't love the ending of Thelma and Louise, unelss they sprouted wings and skis and landed that convertible on a body of water and continued their story... a brand new Lexus, airborn, over a cliff.... the car and driver perishing together. Ok, you made me see it, and I cannot unsee it, and I cannot get that Appelt Air off my mind either because only this morning my husband decided to replace his dying Dell (?) with a used Apple computer.... sigh .... there is no escaping the Big Industries, it seems. The Behemoths win. And those salemen keep selling. And like lemmings they'll - eh. No. I have been working all day to STAY POSITIVE.... my mom at age 84 finally declared today that she had cooked a goulash as good as her dad's. This is big. This is epic!

I'd rather just see her in that kitchen with her dad, together one more time, but we take what victories we can and run with them, shouting from the highest hilltop.

But no jumping off the cliff, not today, not for me. I'll revisit this story and enjoy it more another day! Why do you have to write so well....
