Wow, you really do have a lot on your plate! And those phone calls! I already dread the ring of the phone, wondering who I'm about to learn is dead, even though 99.99999% of all phone calls have never informed me of anyone's death. Still. #TheRing - it's even a title of a horror movie now.

The needle stick. Oh man. "Looks like a good vein." oops. Looks like the vein blew. WHAT DO THEY MEAN BY THAT and the scond try and the third try and the PAIN - oh man, my sister could tell stories, but she finally rolled over and died (I would have long before she did) at age 63, so.... yeah.

My dad also had blood in the urine (at age 87) and it was a bladder infection. But he didn't mention any symptoms so it wasn't until he reached the point of collapse, unable to stand or walk, that Mom summoned an ambulance. It was a "very serious" thing, the doctors said. So, if you need to find a bright side here, you have apparently caught things in the EARLY STAGES.

You just reminded me: I need to schedule the dreaded annual mammogram, too, and I've held out on seeing a dermatologist, thinking "just moles" so why bother having them looked at....

May the phone bring you ONLY GOOD NEWS and may the needles land in the right place on the first try, leaving no pain in their wake.

GOOD LUCK!!! "aging is not for sissies"
