From what I have seen, though, people will continue to overlook opportunities or lack the agency to seize them, and I do not get to play the Greek Chorus and say wait, look, you don't have to keep sacriciing yourself for someone else. I get to SHUT UP and MIND MY OWN BUSINESS. No matter how carefully I try to phrase things, people want sympathy but not ideas on how to improve their 'lot in life." Sorry. Your words really struck home today and I am over=reacting, so I go now to bake my brains in the September sun and remind myself: Shut up. Shut up. Shut up.
